DESCRIPTION:  \nPARKER PLAYERS IMPROV GROUP \nHe is a graduate of the prestigious Second City Conservatory for Improv Actors in Chicago\, IL as well as a graduate of the iO (Improv Olympic) Theater Improv Acting Program. \nGrant discovered improv through an introduction to improv workshop in 2002. Shortly after attending this workshop he joined and began performing with the long running Clown Box Improv Comedy Troupe of Fort Collins\, CO. While performing with the Clown Box\, Grant began leading improv workshops and teaching improvisational acting to teenagers at Debut Theatre in Fort Collins. \nAfter five years of teaching and performing in Fort Collins\, Grant decided that he wanted to advance his improv skills even further by moving to the center of improv comedy\, Chicago\, IL. While training in Chicago\, Grant performed with independent improv troupe Penny Candy\, The Playground Theater’s Blanket Jackson\, and Second City’s Baby Patrick. \nAfter 5 more years of performing in Chicago\, Grant thought he had hung up his “improv gloves\,” when he moved to Parker\, CO. However\, it didn’t take long before Grant realized that he needed improv a lot more than improv needed him. Grant founded the Parker Players Improv Theater Company in 2016 with the goal of both spreading laughter from improv comedy throughout Colorado and helping members grow in their self-confidence and appreciation for the art form.

DESCRIPTION:Stage to be moved from Castle Rock Theatre of Dreams SOON! \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheatre of Dreams has operated for over 22 years as one of the very few venues in the world that specialize in live mystery entertainment.  They have featured world renowned mystery entertainers from around the world\, all of them “famous” in the magic and mentalism industry who have headlined Vegas shows and performed on international television.\n \nThe quality of sophisticated entertainment has kept our venue successful through a loyal following and group of patrons along the front range.\n \nThe Sedalia property “THE MAGIC MANOR”. offers the opportunity for us to expand and create the vision we embarked upon in 2003.  It allows us to provide sophisticated experiences that go beyond the restrictions of our current small venue which seats 72 people.  This property allows us to host larger public and private events that can feature world class entertainment including music\, comedy and other variety arts.   The space also allows us to continue our success of “Wizard Camp” and host other specialized classes in the performing arts\, both in and out of doors.\n \nWe have no intention of operating as a restaurant\, but having the areas for food prep is something we have never been able to offer in our private events at the Theatre of Dreams in Castle Rock\, CO!  We see this as a huge benefit in being able to properly host high-class events featuring the best caterers in the area.\n\nIn our eyes\, the name “Gabriel’s” represents the history of the building as well as the class and atmosphere that matches our vision we have created at the “Theatre of Dreams”.  It also is a recognized landmark and would be valuable when citing the destination.  People would know where we are; a battle we’ve fought since opening our theater\, as it’s not in a visible location. Their reality-bending shows have been designed for groups as large as 3000\, and as small as 10.  You get two magicians in this entertaining\, very professional act!   This award winning pair is sure to please!\n\nJoe and Carol can entertain anywhere for any age group!   They can do walk-around magic as well as an interactive stand-up magic and illusion show.  Together they create a mystical world of laughter\, wonder and amazement.  Dream Masterz provide high caliber entertainment for all who desire something fun\, unique\, & amazing!\nA team since 1994\, Joe and Carol were both world-class touring magicians until they met performing at “Magic Island” 5 Star Dinner Theatre in Houston\, TX.  The first time Joe and Carol worked together was on “World’s Greatest Super Magician’s” T.V. show in Tokyo\, Japan.   Their first U.S. performance together was at the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood\, CA\,the “Magic Castle”. \nThey have won 3 World championships in magic competitions.  They had their own show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and have starred on Television Worldwide.  They have also performed on cruise ships everywhere\, and Carol was a Cruise Director.   They are to honored to have performed on international television show\, Penn & Teller “Fool Us” in 2017.\n \nDesiring a theatre of their own\, in 2003 they opened their own Theatre of Dreams in Castle Rock\, CO. and feature their own show as well as other world class performers.  .    They also coach and consult other professional magicians and teach Wizard Camp every summer to rave revues.

From the Saturday before Thanksgiving when the Star is lit for the holiday season until it’s turned off at the end of the National Western Stock Show in January\, the Season of the Star is a celebration of lights\, the beauty of our Town and festive events. Get in the holiday spirit with these family-friendly activities held throughout Town. And visit Downtown to enjoy the festive holiday decor including hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights during the Season of the Star from Nov. 23\, 2024\, to Jan. 25\, 2025. \nStarlighting\nSaturday\, Nov. 23\n2 to 6 p.m.\nDowntown Castle Rock\nJoin the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce for the annual Starlighting festivities including hot chocolate/adult beverages\, food trucks\, nonprofit booths\, strolling entertainers\, and live entertainment.
