DESCRIPTION:Stage to be moved from Castle Rock Theatre of Dreams SOON! \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheatre of Dreams has operated for over 22 years as one of the very few venues in the world that specialize in live mystery entertainment.  They have featured world renowned mystery entertainers from around the world\, all of them “famous” in the magic and mentalism industry who have headlined Vegas shows and performed on international television.\n \nThe quality of sophisticated entertainment has kept our venue successful through a loyal following and group of patrons along the front range.\n \nThe Sedalia property “THE MAGIC MANOR”. offers the opportunity for us to expand and create the vision we embarked upon in 2003.  It allows us to provide sophisticated experiences that go beyond the restrictions of our current small venue which seats 72 people.  This property allows us to host larger public and private events that can feature world class entertainment including music\, comedy and other variety arts.   The space also allows us to continue our success of “Wizard Camp” and host other specialized classes in the performing arts\, both in and out of doors.\n \nWe have no intention of operating as a restaurant\, but having the areas for food prep is something we have never been able to offer in our private events at the Theatre of Dreams in Castle Rock\, CO!  We see this as a huge benefit in being able to properly host high-class events featuring the best caterers in the area.\n\nIn our eyes\, the name “Gabriel’s” represents the history of the building as well as the class and atmosphere that matches our vision we have created at the “Theatre of Dreams”.  It also is a recognized landmark and would be valuable when citing the destination.  People would know where we are; a battle we’ve fought since opening our theater\, as it’s not in a visible location. He was hooked instantly and did his first paid show at the age of 7. He won many piano competitions and had to choose between a career in magic or music. Choosing Magic as a career\, he designed a competition act and in 1986 won the International Brotherhood of Magician’s 1st place award in close-up magic. In 1987\, he won the Gold Cups International award of Excellence (one of 5 recipients in the 75-year history of the organization). The “Olympics of Magic”\, known as FISM\, was held in Holland in 1988 where Joe was awarded first place in close-up magic. As a creator and designer of magic and illusion\, Joe consults for both David Copperfield and David Blaine\, and others. Joe is a creator of original illusions. He is a worldwide lecturer on the art of creating and performing illusions as well as an author of several magic books. Joe Givan has designed custom illusions for major corporations – IBM\, Xerox\, Apple\, AT&T\, Pepsi\, etc; his creativity has been sought by performers such as David Copperfield\, David Blaine\, Guns & Roses\, as well as Alice Cooper’s “Brutal Planet” and Six Flags Amusement Parks. \nCAROL MASSIE was born in Ohio\, and her first time on stage was playing piano as a Miss Ohio finalist. After graduating with two degrees\, Carol was hired by Carnival Cruise Lines to try her illusion act on board for 3 months. Still on ships\, 5 years later (after being a Cruise Director for 3 of those years)\, Carol “landed” a job at Resorts International in Atlantic City\, Germany\, Korea\, Canada\, Japan\, “Spellbound” at Caesar’s Palace\, and numerous other casino venues in Las Vegas. She wrote a column for Genii Magazine called Cruise News. Carol met Joe Givan while performing at Magic Island in Houston\, Texas and soon after\, they created Dream Masterz Theatrical Illusion Show. She has been a full-time professional magician since 1985. Carol met fellow magician\, Joe Givan while performing at Magic Island in Houston\, Texas and soon after they created Dream Masterz Theatrical Illusion Show. Joe and Carol opened their own “Theatre of Dreams” in April\, 2003 and have received enormous accolades from the worldwide magic community for their contribution to the art of magic! DESCRIPTION:Dream Masterz Award Winning Magic Team \ncomedy magic bit… \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nDream Masterz Award Winning Magic Team\, Joe Givan and Carol Massie specialize in the art of magic & illusion.  You get two magicians in this entertaining\, very professional act!     Together they create a mystical world of laughter\, wonder and amazement. \nA team since 1994\, Joe and Carol were both world-class touring magicians until they met performing at “Magic Island” 5 Star Dinner Theatre in Houston\, TX.  The first time Joe and Carol worked together was on “World’s Greatest Super Magician’s” T.V. show in Tokyo\, Japan.   Their first U.S. performance together was at the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood\, CA\,the “Magic Castle”. \nThey have won 3 World championships in magic competitions.  They had their own show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and have starred on Television Worldwide.  They have also performed on cruise ships everywhere\, and Carol was a Cruise Director.   They are to honored to have performed on international television show\, Penn & Teller “Fool Us” in 2017. \nDesiring a theatre of their own\, in 2003 they opened their own Theatre of Dreams in Castle Rock\, CO. to rave reviews worldwide.   They also coach and consult other professional magicians and teach Wizard Camp every summer ages 7 – 80 with a professional recital on the last day for family & friends.
